A report on the social and legal support in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The HIV Legal Network promotes the human rights of people living with, at risk of, or affected by HIV or AIDS, in Canada and internationally, through research and analysis, litigation and other advocacy, public education and community mobilization.
From April 2017 to May 2020, with the support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, a pilot project of social and legal support for people who inject drugs was carried out in St. Petersburg in order to improve health outcomes, specifically along the HIV testing, treatment, and care cascade (hereinafter referred to as the “HIV cascade”). I designed this report to present those findings in an easy to read and very visually interesting way.
