Evelyn “Champagne” King, Linda Clifford, and Martha Wash come together to form First Ladies of Disco and show the world they are music royalty!

Evelyn “Champagne” King, Linda Clifford, and Martha Wash are three singers who have fuelled dance hits for more than 30 years. Some of their individual hits include “Shame”, “If My Friends Could See Me”, and “It’s Raining Men”. Coming together to form First Ladies of Disco, their manager, approached me to design the visual brand, working with photography from the incredible Mike Ruiz.

A wordmark was developed that aligned with the overall tone of the brand – classy, sophisticated, and beautiful. The project has continued with me designing their website and the CD packaging for their debut single, “Show Some Love”.
